1st UN PRME Conference 2026

"Creating Value Beyond Profit: Responsible Business in a Changing World"

A platform for academicians, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, students, social entrepreneurs, and development practitioners to exchange ideas on responsible management, sustainable development, ethical leadership, and inclusive business practices.

Organized by the School of Management Studies (SMS), Swami Rama Himalayan University, in association with the Rural Development Institute (RDI).
About the Conference

Responsible business for a changing world

Businesses today are expected to create value not only for shareholders but also for society, communities, and the environment. Rapid technological advancement, climate change, social inequalities, changing consumer expectations, and evolving regulatory frameworks have made responsible business practices essential for long-term success.

The conference seeks to explore how organizations can move beyond profit-centred approaches and integrate sustainability, ethics, social responsibility, and inclusive development into their strategies and operations.

Aligned with the principles of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (UN PRME) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the conference aims to encourage meaningful dialogue, interdisciplinary research, and practical solutions for building responsible and resilient organizations.
